Getting started
Do I need an account to run a scan?
Yes, a free account, but it takes under a minute to set up and the first scan is free with no credit card required.
Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom-built store?
Yes. The scan reads your live, rendered pages the way a shopper's browser would, so it works regardless of what platform your store is built on.
How long does a scan take?
Usually about a minute, depending on how many pages we're checking and how the site responds. Larger catalogs or slower sites can take a bit longer.
What if my site has bot protection, like Cloudflare?
Some bot-protection services block automated visits entirely, ours included. If that happens, your report will tell you that's what occurred instead of just showing a confusing empty result.
Scoring & reports
How is my score calculated?
Every issue found gets weighted by how much it matters, missing descriptions or brand names count more than a spelling mistake, since those are more likely to cost you a sale. The total weighted issues against the number of products checked convert into a letter grade.
What do the letter grades mean?
The same scale as a report card: A+ down through F, based on your numeric score. A+ is 97 and up, an A is 93 to 96, and so on down to F below 60.
Can I export my report?
Yes. PDF export is available on every plan, including the free tier. Excel export is available on Premium and Enterprise.
Do you keep my report after I close the tab?
No. Your report is shown to you for that session only, we don't keep a stored copy of its contents on our servers afterward. We do keep a simple daily count of how many scans your account has used, so your plan's limit can be enforced.
Billing & plans
How many scans do I get per day?
5 scans a day on the free Starter plan, 50 a day on Premium, and a custom limit on Enterprise.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, from your Account page, no need to contact support first. Your Premium access stays active until the end of your current billing period, it doesn't cut off immediately.
What happens if I hit my daily scan limit?
You'll see a notice explaining your options: buy a single extra scan, upgrade to a higher plan, or wait for your limit to reset.
Do you offer a discount for new subscribers?
New accounts get a one-time percentage off their first month of Premium, shown automatically at checkout if you're eligible.
Account & privacy
How do I delete my account?
From the Account page, you can permanently delete your account directly, no need to contact us first.
Is my page content sent to a third party?
Yes. When you run a scan, the text from your pages is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider for analysis, that's how the scan reads and evaluates your content.
Does PagePolisher store my card details?
No. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe through their secure checkout, your card details never pass through or get stored on our servers.
