Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how PagePolisher collects, uses, and shares information when you use the service. By using PagePolisher, you agree to the collection and use of information as described below.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google. We also store the answers you give to our short pre-scan questions, such as your store platform and rough catalog size.
What we do with scan data
When you run a scan, the URL you provide is sent to our scanning service, which visits pages on that site and analyzes their content, including sending page text to a third party artificial intelligence provider for analysis. Your report is shown to you in your browser for that session and, if you choose, can be downloaded as a PDF or Excel file, we do not keep a stored copy of your report's contents on our servers afterward. We do keep a simple daily count of how many scans your account has used, so we can enforce your plan's scan limit.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie preference. See our cookie banner for choices about optional cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers that help us run PagePolisher, only as needed to operate the service. This includes our hosting, database, and artificial intelligence providers; Stripe, to process Premium subscription payments (we do not receive or store your full card details ourselves); Tawk.to, which powers the live chat widget on our site, if you choose to use it; and Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that sign in and sign up attempts are coming from a real person rather than a bot.
International data transfers
PagePolisher is available worldwide. Some of the service providers we use, including our hosting, database, and artificial intelligence providers, are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where this happens, we rely on those providers' own data protection safeguards and contractual commitments to protect your information.
Data retention
We keep your account and scan data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time from the Account page, this removes your profile, cancels any active subscription, and deletes your login.
Your choices
You can update your account details, manage or cancel your Premium subscription, and permanently delete your account, all directly from the Account page, no need to contact us first. For any other privacy related request, reach us through the chat widget.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new date at the top.
